Soon, very soon

The broadcast moment of the next Doctor Who episode is so close now and there is already so much stuff about "Lets kill Hitler" online, that I can't wait for it to start.
It has been a long time without Doctor Who but at least we had Torchwood in between to watch something from the Whoniverse. I know that some people aren't happy about Torchwood and say that it's too American now but I think everyone has to decide that for themselves. I guess it's helpful when you don't live in the UK like me and you don't notice the Britishness that much.
Well, back to Doctor Who then. I think there is still no official broadcast date set for the UK (it's the 27th as well) but the one for the US is the 27th of August. Now I really want to know if the Doctor is able to find Melody and if it's really him who was killed in "The Impossible Astronaut" or if it was his Ganger. The trailer for the second half of the series suggests that we will find out soon. I think it will be a great finale for this series and then everybody can look forward to Christmas then.
I'm really excited now and the only thing that I want to do is watch the next Doctor Who episode and know what happens next.

K9

Thanks to Tardis Newsroom I came into contact with the K9 series which is filmed in Australia but still belongs into the Doctor Who universe.
I have to admit I really like the series although it is more for children like the Sarah Jane Adventures. Sometimes I think the single episodes are a bit short because the are only around 20 to 30 minutes but it's really something you can watch in between and I like the design of the new K9.
It would be nice to have a connection to Doctor Who in the series on day but that is probably difficult because it's produced in Australia. Well, I think I will enjoy the episodes which I haven't seen yet and maybe I open an episodeguide for this series as well.

Something totally different now. I have discovered Sherlock for me. I've missed the first episode of series one but I liked the second very much. Great work Mr Moffat!

Series 6 Episode 7: A Good Man Goes to War

What an episode and such a mean cliffhanger. I really didn't expect this when I heard about the revelation of River Song's secret. That was definitely very good planning from the first time we saw River with the tenth Doctor. And now it's waiting time til the other half of the series is on TV.
For all who can't see the episode on TV you can watch it online.
A Good Man Goes to War

Summary:
Rory and the Doctor try to find Amy and the baby and even attack the Cybermen to find out where she is. The Doctor collects debts from different people he has helped over time and builds an army to defeat the army on the asteroid "Demons Run". Only River Song says she can't help him when Rory asks her. She can only be with the Doctor at the very end. River is also right when she tells Rory that this is the time when the Doctor will rise higher than ever before but will also fall deeper. The Doctor can save Amy and the baby but at what cost? Have they really saved everyone and who is River Song?

A Good Man Goes to War Trailer

I'm really looking forward to this episode but after that it will be a cliffhanger break. *urgh*
Anyways after the last episode we finally know why the Doctor always got these strange readings when he scanned Amy for pregnancy.

Series 6 Episode 6: The Almost People

After watching the episode "The Almost People" I can only say that I haven't expected such an ending. Oh my God. I liked this episode more than the one before but maybe I just have to rewatch the other one. The story picked up pace right from the beginning and after a while it's nearly impossible to say who's a Ganger and who's not.
For all the people who don't have Doctor Who on TV you can watch online here.
The Almost People

Summary:
The solar storm is still raging and the Doctor has a Ganger as well now. The Jennifer Ganger plots a revolution because she can remember how often she was destroyed and wants to kill the humans now. The acid fumes in the factory are at a critical level now and everyone will die when they can't get off the island soon. Amy has to deal with two Doctors at once and seems to feel different for the Ganger version. She also sees the eye-patch lady again. Jennifer tricks Rory so he helps her to lock the humans up and get off the island herself. The situation builds up to an unexpected ending for all who are involved.

Series 6 Episode 5: The Rebel Flesh

Another Doctor Who cliffhanger episode. It's already the second in this season. I liked the episode and the idea behind it of copies of people who live on their own but I think "The Doctor's Wife" was a better episode. Hopefully there will be a good finish to the story in the next episode.
And I was right by the way. The Doctor is still wondering about Amy's condition and who the hell is this eye-patch lady?
You can watch the episode online.
The Rebel Flesh

Summary:
The Tardis is thrown onto Earth during a solar storm and the Doctor, Amy and Rory land on an island with an old monastery. They find out that it is a factory under control of the army and that they are pumping acid to the mainland. A second solar storm is coming and the Doctor wants to see their critical system after he has shown the workers his psychic paper. They show him the Flesh which they use to make doppelgangers of themselves because of the dangerous work. The Doctor finds out that the Flesh is alive and warns the people but they won't listen to him and after the solar storm swept over the factory the "Gangers" are suddenly alive and want to stay alive.

Series 6 Episode 4: The Doctor's Wife

Wow, this episode was just amazing. I'm still a bit ... I don't have words for it but it was definitely a brilliant episode and I feel like I want to watch it again. But it was also a bit sad in the end but wow...

Alright, if you've missed the episode or can't watch it on TV you can watch the episode online.

And now a short summary:
The Doctor gets a distress message from another Time Lord and after following it lands on an asteroid which is outside of the universe. There the soul of the Tardis is drawn out of the box and the power goes out. When the Doctor, Amy and Rory go outside they see that they are in a junkyard. People are living in this place and one of them kisses the Doctor and seems to know him. They bring him to House, a consciousness inside the asteroid but before that he heard the voices of other Time Lords. Are there still some Time Lords out there and who is this woman who kissed the Doctor?
