The Day of the Doctor

The 50th anniversary special was so amazing that I had to watch it a second time right after the live screening. Here are just my first thoughts because I guess I have to watch the episode again to write a proper review.
The dynamic between the different Doctors was brilliant and the episode had some surprise appearances as well. There were some nods to classic Doctor Who as well which I really liked, although I haven't seen lots of these Doctors.
I can't say much more than that I totally loved the episode.

What about you?

Happy Birthday, Matt!

Matt Smith turns 30 today.
We all know him as the current Doctor in Doctor Who or as everybody calls him: Eleven. Meanwhile he also appeared in a couple of films like "Bert&Dickie".
So Happy Birthday Matt!

Hmmm...

I don't really know what I should write about today. I had a lot less readers the last days than before and I'm wondering about if poeple think it's boring what I write about Doctor Who or if it's just because of the summer break and there is not a lot of new things to talk about.
I naturally could gossip about Matt Smith and his girlfriend in the US or that David Tennant is a father now but I really don't feel like doing that.
Well, I just hope you like my Fan Art and the other stuff I post here and it would be nice when you would leave me some comments. You can comment anonymously so start commenting guys.
And soon it's Torchwood time! I'm excited!

What will you remember of the different Doctors?

I wondered what you will remember of the different Doctors?
I only know three of them because I haven't seen the older episodes of Doctor Who but I can tell you what I will remember of the Doctors 9-11 which were played by Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and now Matt Smith.
The Ninth Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston looked always a bit sad and like he felt the weight of the whole universe on his shoulders but I really liked his humor. He was really funny and the scene when he first met Rose will always stay in my head. I think he was more serious than the Doctors after him.
What I loved about the Tenth Doctor played by David Tennant was his smile. He really has a gorgeous smile and you want to smile along. Another thing I will remember is him saying "Allons-y". That was always great and who can forget this epic scene before his regeneration when he visited all his friends for the last time.
I really like that the Eleventh Doctor played by Matt Smith sometimes looks like a child when he finds something interesting. He doesn't say "Geronimo" very often in the new series which I also like.
Well that was it for now. Maybe you want to tell me what you like about the different Doctors and what you will remember of them.

Sadly I have to announce...

Some of you will probably remember my post where I asked the question if Matt Smith is still single. Unfortunately he is not. *sigh*
His girlfriend is the 22-year old model Daisy Lowe and they seem to be quite in love when you look at the pictures you can find in the boulevard press. What a shame another good man who isn't available anymore. So I guess I'm right with what I say all the time: All good men are either taken or gay!
For me she seems a bit young for him but what is an age difference of six years in our time. Nothing when you compare them to other couples. Well, you can always hope that they will split up someday but that would be quite mean. Anyways you can always dream about the Doctor that doesn't hurt anybody. (Sorry to the male readers, that's probably something you don't want to read but now comes something different)

Another thing is that you can find the latest Tweets of Steven Moffat now on the left side of my blog. (You have to scroll down a bit for it) If you the Tweets of anyone else there as well, please tell me and I am happy to put them there for you. I don't have Twitter and probably won't get it in the near future. If anyone reads this who has Twitter I won't complain if you could tweet the address of my bathroom post to Steven Moffat. Thank you! (But maybe don't mention this post)

The changing actors for the Doctor

I think it's a quite fascinating concept for a TV show to invent a charakter who can come back again and again in a different form because of the regenerations. It's something that can guarantee a long life of a show if it's made well.
I only know the three current actors who played the Doctor because I was too young to watch it when it aired originally but I have to admit I like all three of them. Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant and Matt Smith all gave the role of the Doctor a different twist but I think there are also some similarities between the differnt versions of the Doctor.
It's true that David Tennant is the Doctor for most of the people but I think that's also because he played the role for the longest time and we are just so used to him. But also Christopher Eccleston and now Matt Smith play(ed) the role very good and it's just great entertainment.
I really hope the show will continue for a long time but we have nearly reached the end of the regeneration ability of the Doctor. So lets hope he won't change that fast again.

Is Matt Smith...?

I will apologize to the guys who come across this post before I actually start it. You probably don't want to read this. I guess I would be quite embarrassed if I should ever meet Matt Smith in person and he knew I was the one who wrote this. Well know we are getting to my question:

Is Matt Smith still single?
You probably know from that question that I'm a girl but well, someone has to ask this. Matt is really cute and as it says on the webpage Matt Smith's Hair: His "hair is like an elegant ocean wave carved from teak" (By the way, he knows about this page) and I think I agree with that. His hair is really nice and has this "I just came out of bed" style.
I would love to know how much of him is in his version of the Doctor because he seems like a really nice guy. It would be really cool to meet him in real and not only via TV.
And another question is if he is still single? I would love to know that also a bit for myself maybe. He is really very cute and around my age but that will probably only be a daydream. ;)
I guess he is a guy that every girl would love to call her boyfriend.

Series 6 Episode 4: The Doctor's Wife

Wow, this episode was just amazing. I'm still a bit ... I don't have words for it but it was definitely a brilliant episode and I feel like I want to watch it again. But it was also a bit sad in the end but wow...

Alright, if you've missed the episode or can't watch it on TV you can watch the episode online.
> Watch here <

And now a short summary:
The Doctor gets a distress message from another Time Lord and after following it lands on an asteroid which is outside of the universe. There the soul of the Tardis is drawn out of the box and the power goes out. When the Doctor, Amy and Rory go outside they see that they are in a junkyard. People are living in this place and one of them kisses the Doctor and seems to know him. They bring him to House, a consciousness inside the asteroid but before that he heard the voices of other Time Lords. Are there still some Time Lords out there and who is this woman who kissed the Doctor?

Matt Smith in the White House

Matt Smith gives us a look behind the scenes of filming Doctor Who in the White House and plays around with a camera. Really nice video.
