Doctor Who Crossover?

Have you ever thought about a crossover of Doctor Who or Torchwood with another TV show?

It would be really cool to mix some shows with Doctor Who. One that comes to my mind is Spooks. I don't know if you know it but it's also a BBC show about the MI5. It would be really fun to watch Harry meet the Doctor (I think Harry is still on the show but I'm not so up to date with the episodes).

Most crossovers with other shows are in FanFics. I read a couple of really good ones and wrote one or two myself (no Doctor Who one).
One I really like is a Torchwood/Blood Ties crossover written by Helen Pattskyn. It is called "Blood Moon Rising".
But you can find a lot of other crossovers when you have a look at fanfiction.net where you find the section browse crossover fanfiction.

Today I have another letter to the Doctor from one of his companions. It all came out of my mind.

Doctor,
I am happy today.
I haven't been happy for a long time after you left me. There was always you, your human you but I wasn't happy. I felt like you betrayed me. You've left me behind ins this other universe and I was so angry. I was so angry and I didn't want to feel anything else.
I had all these questions in my mind. Why have you left me? Why couldn't I come with you? Why didn't you want me anymore?
But one day these questions stopped. One day I knew why you've left me here.
You didn't gave me what I wanted but what I needed. You gave me a life with my familiy and without the dangers. I couldn't understand why you left your human self behind but you did it because you love me. You wanted to give me the chance to get old with you, at least with a part of you.
I am happy today, Doctor and I hope that, wherever you are at the moment, you are happy, too.

Letters to the Doctor II

Dear Doctor,
This will probably be the last letter you will get from me. I have asked Mr Smith to send you this in case of my death.
I wanted to thank you for being such a great friend for all this years and showing me places all over the universe. You left me alone after our travelling but I am not angry about it anymore because you gave me a purpose. I have learned so much from you that I was able to protect the earth when you weren't there.
Don't be sad Doctor, I had a wonderful life because of you.
Can I ask you for a favour? Can you check on Luke and the other kids from time to time? I shouldn't call them kids anymore because they are grown up now and don't need my guidance anymore.
Maybe there will be something else after my death - who knows - but I will probably miss all the people I love.
I wish I could have travelled with you again, just once. This will be something that I will regret. But maybe you can fulfill this last wish of mine.
Bury me between the stars so I can watch over the earth forever.

Doctor,
Do you love me?
I wanted to have adventures, I wanted to see the universe and then you came along and showed me things which I couldn't have imagined before.
I've seen you in so many different forms, I've seen you live so many lives but I never really knew what I was for you. Just a box that is bigger on the inside? Your transport to the next adventure and the next and the next?
I'm existing in eleven dimensions at once but I never had a voice.
And then I was alive and I could talk to you, really talk to you for the first time. I could express myself and you understood, you understood me. But it was so short, such a short time that I was alive, such a short time we could really live together.
The only things I could finally say after this years were "Hello" and "I love you" and they came from my heart.
Please, don't give up on trying to give me a voice again. I need more time to tell you all the things I want to tell you.
And there is one thing I really want to know:
Do you love me, Doctor?

The Doctor's Faith Healing & The Angel has the Phonebox

If you like to read Doctor Who Fan Fiction and also Ebooks then I have something for you. Patrick Mallard wrote a Doctor Who/Buffy/Angel crossover Fan Fiction which is really great.

The first book is called "The Doctor's Faith Healing" and is about the 10th Doctor who is sent to Sunnydale by the Powers That Be to help Buffy, Faith and the others to fight against the First Evil. It seems that one of the Powers That Be has not only the defeat of the First Evil in mind when it sends the Doctor to Sunnydale but also his personal happiness...

The second book is called "The Angel has the Phonebox" and is split into two parts. Both parts play in LA and the Doctor was indirectly sent there to help Angel with his cases. In the first one children fall into a coma after watching the tv show "Smile Time". The Doctor and Angel investigate this case but end up as puppets when they first sneak onto the set. They now have to find out how to reverse their condition and how to save the children. In part two the Doctor challenges Illyria for the fate of Fred's soul and body. Their judge is the demon Sweet and he sets up a singing contest between the two parties to decide who will get Fred's body.

I really liked this two Ebooks and nearly read them at a stretch. It really is a great story and I hope there will be sequel to the books.
