(about the Doctor)
Mels: You said he was funny. You never said he was hot.
The Doctor: Sorry. Hello. Doctor not following this, Doctor very lost. You never said I was hot.
Mels: I need out of here now.
The Doctor: Anywhere in particular?
Mels: Let's see. You got a time machine, I've got a gun. What the hell, let's kill Hitler.
The Doctor: You shot it! You shot my TARDIS! You shot the console!
Mels: It's your fault!
The Doctor: How is it my fault?
Mels: You said guns didn't work in this place! You said we're in a state of temporal grace!
The Doctor: Oh, that was a clever lie, you idiot! Anyone could've told it was a clever lie!
Amy: Where are we?
The Doctor: A room.
Rory: What room?
The Doctor: I don't know what room. I haven't memorized every room in the universe, I had yesterday off.
Amy: Okay, Doctor, explain what is happening, please.
The Doctor. Mels. Short for...
Mels: Melody.
Amy: Yeah, I named my daughter after her.
The Doctor: You named your daughter after your daughter.
Rory: Is anybody else finding this day just a bit difficult? I'm getting this sort of banging in my head.
Amy: Yeah, I think that's Hitler in the cupboard.
Rory: That's not helping.
Rory: What's wrong with you, what's she done to you?
The Doctor: Poisoned me. But I'm fine. Well, no, I'm dying. But I've got a plan.
Amy: What plan?
The Doctor: Not dying.
German Officer: What are you doing here?
River Song: Well, I was on my way to this gay Gypsy bar mitzvah for the disabled when I suddenly thought, "Gosh, the Third Reich's a bit rubbish. I think I'll kill the Fuhrer." Who's with me?
Rory: Okay. Okay, I'm trapped inside a giant robot replica of my wife. I'm really not trying to see this as a metaphor.
Amy: How can we be in here?
Rory: Umm...
Amy: How do we fit?
Rory: Miniaturization ray.
Amy: How would you know that?
Rory: Well, there was a ray and we were miniaturized.
Amy: All right.
River Song: Are you serious?
The Doctor: Never knowingly. Never knowingly be serious. Rule 27, you might want to write these down.
The Doctor: I'm not dead.
Amy-Drone: You're dying.
The Doctor: Well, at least I'm not a time-traveling, shape-shifting robot operated by miniaturized cross people. Which I've got to admit, I didn't see coming.

Series 6 Episode 8: Let's kill Hitler
It is so amazing that Doctor Who is back and I really loved the new episode. I'm still excited from watching it and here are my thoughts. Don't read any further when you haven't watched the episode yet.
Summary:
Amy and Rory write a note into a cornfield to contact the Doctor who turns up but then they are joined by Mels and old friend of Amy and Rory. They have to run and Mels shoots the Tardis which crash lands in Hitler's office. Flashbacks show that Amy and Rory know Mels their whole life and have spent quite a lot of time with her. Rory locks Hitler in a cupboard after he shot a robot with tiny people inside but Mels was shot as well. Everyone is surprised when she regenerates and turns into River Song. She poisons the Doctor and Rory and Amy go after her. They are beamed into the robot and the people inside want to torture River for killing the Doctor. Amy saves her daughter and she saves her parents from the robot with the help of the Tardis. The Doctor dies but is revived by River who gives him her remaining regeneration energy.
This episode was bloody brilliant Mr. Moffat. Thank you so much!
Now we know more about River Song and how she became River Song. It is still open why she lands in prison but I think the Doctor knows by now who will kill him and if it's River or not. I think it is still possible that she killed Rory and that's the reason why she is in prison. I loved the moment when Rory locked Hitler in the cupboard. Just brilliant. But there has to be something good in Melody/River because she saved the Doctor and didn't just let him die. And now we also know from whom River got her blue notebook. I can't wait for the next episode.
You can watch it online here.

Soon, very soon
The broadcast moment of the next Doctor Who episode is so close now and there is already so much stuff about "Lets kill Hitler" online, that I can't wait for it to start.
It has been a long time without Doctor Who but at least we had Torchwood in between to watch something from the Whoniverse. I know that some people aren't happy about Torchwood and say that it's too American now but I think everyone has to decide that for themselves. I guess it's helpful when you don't live in the UK like me and you don't notice the Britishness that much.
Well, back to Doctor Who then. I thinkthere is still no official broadcast date set for the UK (it's the 27th as well) but the one for the US is the 27th of August. Now I really want to know if the Doctor is able to find Melody and if it's really him who was killed in "The Impossible Astronaut" or if it was his Ganger. The trailer for the second half of the series suggests that we will find out soon. I think it will be a great finale for this series and then everybody can look forward to Christmas then.
I'm really excited now and the only thing that I want to do is watch the next Doctor Who episode and know what happens next.
