Quotes from "The Power of Three"

The Doctor: Invasion of the very small cubes. That's new.

Brian Williams: What if they're bombs? Billions of tiny bombs. Or transport capsules, maybe, with a mini-robot inside. Or deadly hard drives. Or alien eggs. Or messages needing decoding. Or... they're all parts of a bigger whole. Jigsaw puzzles that need fitting together.
The Doctor: Very thorough, Brian. Very, very thorough. Well done. Stay here. Watch these. Yell if anything happens.

Rory: What do you think we do when we're not with you?
The Doctor: I imagine mostly kissing.

Rory: There are soldiers all over my house and I'm in my pants.
Amy: My whole life I've dreamed of saying that. And I miss it by being someone else.

Rory: You said we had to be patient.
The Doctor: Yes, you. You, not me. I hate being patient. Patience is for wimps.

Amy: Secret base beneath the Tower. Hope we're not here because we know too much.
Kate Stewart: Yes, I've got officers trained in beheading. Also ravens of death.
Amy: I like her.

The Doctor: I need to think, I need some air. Who has an underground base? Terrible ventilation.

The Doctor: I'm not running away. But this is one corner, of one country, on one continent, on one planet, that's a corner of the galaxy, that's a corner of the universe that' is forever shrinking and growing and destroying and never remaining the same for a single millisecond. And there is so much--so much to see, Amy. Because it goes so fast. I'm not running away from things, I'm running to them before they flare and fade forever.
Amy: And why do you keep coming back for us?
The Doctor: Because you were the first. The first face this face saw. And you are seared onto my hearts, Amelia Pond. Always will be. I'm running to you and Rory before you... fade from me.
Amy: Don't be nice to me. Don't want you to be nice to me.
The Doctor: Yeah, you do, Pond. And you always get what you want.

Series 7 Episode 5: The Power of Three

Summary:
One day small black cubes land everywhere on earth and even the Doctor doesn't know why they are here. He stays with the Pond's for a while but he's just too restless to monitor the cubes for a longer time. So he leaves Amy, Rory and Brian, Rory's Dad, in charge of monitoring the cubes. UNIT also shows an interest in them and contacts the Doctor. For a couple of months nothing happens and the people get used to these cubes and take them into their homes. Suddenly all the cubes show some signs of activity but they all behave differently and still the Doctor doesn't know what happens. Then there is a count down and when some of the cubes open, people suffer from cardiac arrest. The Doctor's left heart stops as well but soon he finds a portal and he Amy and Rory are on board of a ship in orbit. The cubes shall destroy humanity but will they manage to do so?

Maybe I have to watch this episode again but right now I don't think it's as good as the other ones before, which doesn't mean that it hasn't got an interesting story. The slow invasion is a great idea and I liked to see some of the daily Pond life. It showed again how the Doctor and the Pond's are connected and how they kind of depend on each other. There were many funny moments and I liked how the Doctor played tennis or made some other normal stuff, which looks so crazy when he does it. I can't put my finger on it but somehow I missed something in this episode. I really don't know what but the other episodes before were a bit better in my opinion. Nonetheless, "The Power of Three" is another good episode of series 7 and I hope the next one will be a smasher with the Pond's leaving and the Weeping Angels.
