"The Eleventh Hour" re-watched

Alright, here I am again and I really hoped you missed me a bit. Maybe just a little, little bit?
Well, due to no TV the last two days I re-watched some Doctor Who episodes on my computer including the episode "The Eleventh Hour" which was the first real episode with Matt Smith as the Doctor. I just noticed some things there which I wanted to share with you.
  • This is the first time we hear something about the Silence. They made this big fuss about the Silence in series 5 but where are they now. We had them in the first two episodes of series 6 but now they aren't even mentioned. This is also something about which the guys from the Cloister Room talk about in their newest podcast. Check it out.
  • I had totally forgotten that the Doctor calls the Tardis "you sexy thing" in this episode.
  • I always wondered what he tells little Amy when he travels back after prisoner zero is gone.
  • From whom has he stolen these clothes?
  • Why are there no ducks on the duckpond?
I think that was all I had on mind after watching this episode again. Feel free to comment on anything.

Ninth Doctor and Rose Wallpaper

I won't be online for one or two days so you'll get a wallpaper to kill the time. This is a quite old one of the Ninth Doctor and Rose when I started to make wallpapers.

Doctor Who Music

Music plays a big part in Doctor Who and makes the episodes much more interesting. Can you imagine an episode of Doctor Who without music?
It's really cool I think when you can spot some music you already know, like the Doctor's theme or the themes of his companions. My all time favourite of the companion's themes is still Martha's. I can't say why but I really love it.
The theme for Donna fits perfectly and the one for Rose is really beautiful. I can't remember Amy's right now but I think I like that one, too. Is there a theme for River? I don't know but I think she would deserve her own music.
I'm still in love with the Tenth Doctor's theme and the song about Gallifrey. By the way the song for Captain Jack from Torchwood is great as well.
The episodes of Doctor Who would be missing something without the music. Sometimes you can understand a scene just because of the music and you always know if it's dangerous or funny or something else. The music is just beautiful, also without seeing the episode where it is in and I can listen to it quite often without getting bored.

Some videos

Today I have some videos made by BrianRimmer for you. The first one is a compilation of all the regenerations of the Doctor and the second video shows the companions and friends the Doctor had over the years. When you want to see more videos of BrianRimmer head over to his YouTube channel. Happy watching.

Doctor Who Merchandise

Do you have any Doctor Who merchandise?
I don't have anything but I also don't have any DVDs, yet, because you can't buy them in a shop in Germany. Well, you can buy the first to series but I think I want the UK versions so I have to order them online. Most of the time I think about buying DVD boxes of TV shows for a long time because they aren't that cheap. I still have an eye on this Doctor Who box where you get series 1-4 together.
I have heard most of the Doctor Who and Torchwood music online but maybe I will buy the CDs someday. I'm a big fan of film music. I think my favourite character melody is still Martha's and I like the theme for David Tennant's Doctor.
I don't know if I would buy the toys which you can get. I guess I would like to have a sonic screwdriver or sonic lipstic which are working in reality but I don't need action figures and stuff like that.
I guess I would buy some of the books when I come across them because I love books.
