Summary:
The Doctor is down in the pit where he finds a huge seal which opens without him doing something. One of the questions the Doctor asks himself is who has build all this down there and then he decides to go down and see what the seal was protecting or imprisoning. Back in the station Rose and the others try to get away from the possessed Ood and towards the rocket but they have to use the tunnels for it. A race of life and death begins and not all of them survive it. When the planet starts to tumble into the black hole Rose is hauled into the spaceship and they try to leave the planet. The Doctor is at the bottom of the pit where he faces the old evil but he discovers that it's just a body and the mind tries to escape. Can he find a solution?
An exciting second part of a great two-parter. I think especially the moment when Rose thinks that she has lost the Doctor is brilliant and she still saves the others from the bad guy. The special effects in this episode are great and I can't imagine how much work it must have been to animate the Satan creature. I still love the Ood although they are possessed in these episodes but they are just cute aliens. There is not that much to say about the story because it's quite straight forward but it was a good idea that the evil tried to get out of the prison inside a human body. The episode has great character moments and you can see again how much the Doctor and Rose would miss each other. Also a nice trick that the Tardis fell into the pit and the Doctor could save the day.
