Torchwood Poll

In my latest poll I wanted to know what you thought about Torchwood.

3 people (50 %) thought that Miracle Day was good, 2 people (33 %) thought it was OK and 1 person (16 %) thought it was brilliant.

Thanks to all the people who voted in my poll. Overall, it seems that the voters had a positive opinion of the Torchwood episodes, in contrary to all the bad comments, which I read after the episodes were on TV.

Torchwood: Miracle Day

Now that Torchwood is over I would like to know what you thought about it.

I have to say that I liked it but that's just my personal opinion. Some things were a bit strange and I think I would have chosen an ending where we get more information about the Blessing but I am not the writer.
Well, all in all it was really nice. I liked the Gwen/Jack moments and I even like the characters of Rex and Esther now. Maybe it helped a bit that I'm not British because I haven't noticed the Americanisation that much.
Torchwood had some great moments in this series but it probably would have been better to make it a couple of episodes shorter.
I really don't know if they can manage to produce another series. I would be really happy about seeing more of Jack but I don't know if it's very likely.

In my last poll I wanted to know if you like the new series of Torchwood.

4 people (80 %) think it's brilliant and 1 person (20 %) likes it but thinks it could be better.
At least I have a definite opinion in my poll this time.

I really love Torchwood so far and hope it will get better. I hope they will do another series like this one or that Jack at least has an appearance on Doctor Who.

This and that

Just some tidbits today.

I really don't know what is wrong with the poll but I think it now has the correct amount of votes again. It sometimes goes a bit wobbly and looses votes but I don't if that is because of someone changing their vote or taking it back or if it's a problem of the poll thing itself.

I have worked a bit on my timeline again and I have added a lot of stuff for the Sarah Jane Adventures. It really starts to grow now. Any help you can give me is appreciated concerning dates mentioned in episodes of Doctor Who, Torchwood or the Sarah Jane Adventures.

If you need Torchwood or Doctor Who captures then I have found a greta page for that. It is called Demon Cry and has tons of pictures for every episode up till now I think. Just have a look.

Well it's time again to tell you the results of my poll. I don't know why but I get always so few votes on my polls and then a lot of disappearing votes.
I wanted to know what you think when Amy was abducted and the one that voted agreed with me that it probably was somewhen between the episodes "The Impossible Astronaut" and "Day of the Moon". Maybe the Moff will tell us more about what happend with Amy in the episodes which will be aired in autumn this year. I would really like to get some explanations.

I'm still very Torchwood-y today so the new poll question is: Do you like the new Torchwood series?

Alright in my last poll I wanted to know, why River Song is in prison.
3 (30 %) said she is in prison because she killed the Doctor, 6 (60 %) think she killed someone else and 1 person (10 %) had a completely different theory. I think the theory was that her sentence gets longer because she breaks out so often and that it was just a minor thing that brought her into prison.

In my new poll I want to know, when do you think Amy was abducted. There are several possibilites for that so I want to know you opinion.

Why is River Song in prison?

There are different theories out on the web why River Song is in prison.
I think the one which most of the people believe in is, that she was the one who killed the Doctor. But was it really her in this spacesuit in the episode "The Impossible Astronaut"? I really don't know. It could have been her because they are always meeting in the wrong order and she must have been a child when they've met for the first time.
River seems to have Timelord DNA but is she also able to regenerate or maybe regenerate just once? That's also something that puzzles me and I have heard different theories about it. Is River the girl we have seen in "Day of the Moon"?
I have read a comment lately that it's possible that we haven't seen the real Doctor die but a Ganger of him. That makes some sense but the technology must be more advanced then because normally the Gangers just disintegrate when they die.
Well, there are still a lot of questions we need and want an answer to concerning River and the Doctor. Please, vote in my new poll which is also about this theme.
One thing that also won't go out of my mind is how sad it must be for the Doctor to know how River dies all the time. That must be quite a burden for him.

7 (63 %) voted against it, 3 (27 %) said maybe and 1 (9 %) said yes. I liked one of the comments where someone said he/she would like to see the Doctor in a body changing episode.

What do you think about a female incarnation of the Doctor?

Have you ever thought about the Doctor as a female after the next regeneration?
I don't know if that's possible but come on he's a Timelord so why not change into a woman. And I guess he could be ginger as well then. That looks better on women than on men in most cases anyway.
You can't deny that it would bring an interesting twist to the story and there would be some hot male companions then. Nothing against Rory as a male companion but you can't say that he is especially hot. He is more cute in a cuddly way.
You can argue that the Doctor has always been a male and should stay a male but come on why not exchange the roles. Well, if you don't want to have a female Doctor for a whole series then think about what it would be like to have a body changing episode or something like that. I really think that would be quite funny to see the normal behaviour of the Doctor in a female and the other way round.
Anyways I would be happy to hear your opinion on this theme so leave a comment or vote in my poll which should be up for around two weeks.

I want to know which is your favourite companion of the Doctors 9 to 11? 
Most people still see Rose as the only true companion of the Doctor but I think her story has found a good end and sometimes it's just time to move on. I really liked Martha, she brought something fresh to the show. Unfortunately she was only there for one series. Donna was alright but I didn't like her as much as the other too. The new companion Amy Pond is great and there is a big story behind her which still has to be revealed.
I really like Jack and River but I don't have to see them in every Doctor Who episode. It was great that Jack got his own show with Torchwood. The triangle relationship between the Doctor, Amy and Rory is great too.
